Her laughter is driving me crazy! How on earth can the woman laugh so much? There is nothing to laugh at; our lives suck.
She kissed him on his temple. Smiling. That stupid, dopey, I-love-you smile. I don't feel the same about her. I will never be able to love her the same. And therein he understood how much she loved him even though he was broken.
When she brought him a Pepsi, he thanked her. She smiled to herself as she walked away. Little tokens. It's everything he has to offer. And I will treasure them in my heart.
